Here we go!
At last it is here - World Cup 2006.
Is it really 40 years
since England last won the World Cup. It can't be, it only seems
like yesterday. I was there, were you?
I paid £7 for a ten
shilling 'terrace' ticket. This was almost 2 weeks salary. Was it
worth it….You bet, every single penny.
Mind you, I bet you don't
get much change out of £2,500 for a ticket to the 2006 final, unless
Togo get there, and then they would probably have to pay you to turn
up! (sorry Andy).
